Anna Kime makes abstract pieces that have the characteristics of common objects such as wheels, plates, collars or rings.
Responding to the materials and processes Kime creates fluid forms that retain movement and suggest tension through balance.
Kime's work has often derived from the notions of everyday activity such as the routines of walking or commuting. The way we rely on the possessions we carry and the way we follow habitual routes.
