Nicholas Cheeseman - 'Material Integrity'
The tree branches have been reduced using an angle grinder with chainsaw blade and sanding discs until one end is as thin as a piece of paper. The four clay coil pots were made and were then stacked whilst still drying. The malleability of the clay and its ability to support weight was reinforced by piercing the structure with the branches.
